MAXWELL CBS EARLY SHOW PERFORMANCE

This morning Maxwell continued the comeback success with a niiiiice performance for the CBS Early Show. It was packed. People came out of the woodwork for this one. Some even bringing signs asking Maxwell to sing at their wedding. I also caught a sight of some bouquets of flowers with their phone numbers written on the cards. He still knows how to make the women go wild. I found my self doing a little one, two step too, but I mean MAXWELL IS BACK! What else would you expect?!

Anyway, he came out and sang Pretty Wings, Bad Habits, Sumthin' Sumthin', and Ascension and had the crowd going crazy. If you all missed the live show, you can catch it on the Friday morning CBS Early Show. Check the pics below if you don't believe he still has that patented Maxwell swag (we need to find a replacement word for swag, I'm getting tired of it). MAXWELL DROPS TODAY

Big day for Maxwell fans. BLACKsummers'night finally drops TODAY. Oh boy. 2010 may just bring about the biggest baby boom since WWII after folks get a listen to this album. But you can't just take it from me, just ask the consumers who went out and bought it! After only hours on the shelves Maxwell had been projected to sell 200,000-350,000 copies of BLACKsummers'night for the week! WOW. Like, that's huge this day and age. So congrats to Maxwell on the big comeback. Niiiice work.

Also, don't forget to check out Maxwell's performance tomorrow on the CBS Early Show at 12:00 PM. For those in the NYC area you can check it out for FREE at 59th St. and 5th Ave. Make sure you get there around 10:30 AM so you can secure yourself a good spot for the show.

BLACKsummers'night TOMORROW

That's right. Tomorrow is the day. Maxwell's return to the scene. The first album in the trilogy, BLACKsummers'night drops tomorrow 7/7/09 featuring the singles Pretty Wings and Bad Habits. Now I've had the opportunity to take a couple listens of the album myself and it is niiiiice. Like smooth Baby Boom 2010 music. But don't just take my word for it. Check out this nice little Maxwell widget and preview the album. Have fun with it. And while you're at it, enjoy these past Maxwell gems below as well.
