Looks like the man who was semi-reluctant to jump on the Twitter train is now using it to his full advantage. During an April show in San Francisco, Twitter founder Evan Williams and investor Chris Sacca set up his Twitter account and his followers just kept rolling in.
Three months later, Wyclef has surpassed 600,000 followers! Goodness, if I only I could get the ball rolling like that. Can you guys out there help me?! I want to get to at least 1,000. If you guys can make it happen maybe, just maybe, I'll throw out a ticket contest or some autographed merch. But I digress.
Congratulations to Wyclef. Twitter is a big thing nowadays that can be used for so much. Glad to see artists utilizing it the right way. And if you're not following @wyclef, @youresopop or me, then get with it.
